Terms and Conditions

Please note the following conditions to booking directly with us - which also guarantees you the best rate.

Payments

To confirm your reservation, we require a mobile phone number, email address and valid card details (using a credit/debit card).

 

A non refundable deposit of £1.00 will be taken at the time of reservation to validate the card, and the balance will be taken one day prior to the arrival date.

 

Bookings can be cancelled free of charge if they are cancelled 48 hours in advance of the arrival date. If the cancellation is received outside of the cancellation period, a payment for one night will be taken using the credit card details provided. 

Main conditions of stay

Check in times from Monday to Friday are from 3pm to 9pm and from 3pm to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. We would appreciate notification of your expected time of arrival in advance, especially for international guests.

If you fail to inform us of late arrival during the check in period, we will assume that the guest has decided not to stay with us. For late check-in, contact us in advance to make suitable arrangements for self-check in.

 

Payments on account are only acceptable if agreed in advance with the proprietors. 

Full amount due must be paid before arrival, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon with us at the time of booking in writing. Accommodation is offered subject to availability and upon receipt of required details requested to complete the booking. The tariffs applicable will be as stated at the time of booking as these may vary according to season and demand.

The proprietors reserve the right to amend or cancel any bookings if payment details incorrect, invalid, do not belong to the person stated or if the contact details provided are incorrect. Any bookings made via online, third-party company websites can only be modified or cancelled through them. 

The proprietors reserve the right to amend, or cancel any booking or contract should the conduct of any person staying is abusive, or cause any detriment to the wellbeing and comfort of other guests or staff. 

Cars may be parked at the Conifers, at the owner’s risk, subject to a parking space being available. We can also advise on any additional parking nearby. The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to the cars whilst on the premises or of any of the guests’ property in the rooms.

Guests are required to vacate their room by 10.00 am, at the latest, on the morning of departure (10:30 am on Sunday) and ensure they hand back their keys to staff or in the self-checkout box in  reception. Guests must read any additional information and observe fire safety instructions and conditions set out in the Guest Rooms and/or the public areas in the Guest House.  

Any items, inadvertently left behind in the Guest Rooms after departure, must be claimed back within 48 hours, otherwise we reserve the right to dispose of them. Please note we are unable to provide any postal or courier service to return any such items.
